I am a Vietnam veteran, who was attached to the marines as a hospital corpsman (medic). I treated many casualties, some I could save, some I couldn’t. One marine, my platoon commander, stands out. Our company was overrun by the North Vietnamese Army; the result was, he received a fatal shrapnel wound to the head and died in my arms, despite my efforts to save him. The day before, he and I had a conversation about our belief in God, and he told me that if he were to be killed, he knew he would go to haven and be with God. That left a very big impression on me. I decided there and then that I would live a life he would be proud of, along with all the other marines who didn’t get a chance to live a full life. I am now 64 years old, and for the most part have had a blessed life. My mission now is to help people with challenges through our website.
    God bless you all.
